Expect all the fun of the fair and more as Waltham St Lawrence and Shurlock Row host their annual Summer Fete. Open to all the family, the village's own Cricket Club will be transformed into a playground for both big and little kids although we expect only the children to take on the challenge of the inflatable assault course! Lots of fun and games will take place throughout the afternoon and there will be a number of children's races to participate in to encourage some healthy village competition.

Local artisans will be selling their wares and there will be plenty of food and drink options as well as music to keep you all well watered, nourished and entertained throughout the afternoon.

If your little one is a lover of engines, then make sure they stop by and visit both the Fire Engine and Ambulance that will be parked up for all to tour.

This Fourth of July, forget red, white and blue as Waltham St Lawrence and Shurlock Row will be flying its pink and green village flags in celebration of the start of the Summer. Party in the Parish is back and it promises, once again, to be a fantastic evening of fun and frivolity for all the family.

Following the success of last year's Brazilian carnival, Party in the Parish is putting the 'Country' into the West End (excuse the village pun) by hosting its very own hoedown. Think Tay Tay back in the day, Miley moments and even Beyonce recognizing that 'This ain't Texas' as our boot scooting live covers band will get everyone up on their feet as they play country classics, pop hits as well as some great golden oldies.

With hay bales and the Trailer stage front and centre, the Country & Western theme is all set, so throw on your checked shirts and cowboy hats and head on down to the School Field!
